browndog productions (browndog) is a digital video production house that has been operating from Brisbane since 1996 providing innovative and entertaining media solutions for broadcast, DVD, mobile and the web.

We think of each project as a movie with an interesting tale to tell and specialise in making the everyday extraordinary.

Variety, imagination and a sense of fun is what keeps browndog fresh to produce, create, film and edit all components of your event, documentary, corporate DVD, television commercial, or music film clip cost effectively. If you want your next project to be something that people really take notice of, we are your dog. Our small (but perfectly formed) team can direct, produce, film, edit and deliver in ways that bring your vision alive and creatively showcase your story.

About Justin

Justin Brown (browndog principal) is an award winning film-maker, musician and former Commerce Law Graduate. His passion for music is a notable strength for browndog, enabling him to bring films alive with innovative soundtracks to his films, achieving the desired emotional response for our clients. Browndog's involvement in comprehensively filming 20 different music festivals over the last 4 years has resulted in live-music films becoming a core focus of the business. He has a trademark ‘like being there’ style that’s hard to match.

Festivals include Cockatoo Island in Sydney Harbour 2005, Australia’s International Indigenous Festival, The Dreaming 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Brisbane’s Valley Fiesta 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2008. The Woodford Folk Festival 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, and Australia’s largest blues festival, The Byron Bay Bluesfest 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009, Island Vibe Festival 2007 and 2008, and Lake Sentani Festival 2008, West Papua.

We continue to grow and service a variety of major corporate, indigenous, entertainment and educational clients who like the dog’s unique and instinctive approach to storytelling. Take a look at our new screening room www.youtube.com/browndog2006 for a few video demos.
